I work at the intersection of law, business, and technology. With a legal background, I actively shape the digital transformation of the legal sector by combining my practical legal experience with strategic management and a deep understanding of technology.
My experience in leading law firms is matched by a strong startup mindset, a combination that allows me to drive the digitalization of legal services with a hands-on approach. At the core of my work is the development of tailored transformation strategies: my goal is to position law firms and corporate legal departments so that they are both technologically and commercially future-proof.
Skills
Legal expertise: As Legal Counsel at Ericsson, I was responsible for drafting, reviewing and managing complex ICT contracts. I used my legal expertise to further develop contractual and legal standards. Previously, I had already provided independent legal support for financing transactions and managed projects at Noerr.
Digitalisation: As COO at Dr. Hartung, I independently developed and comprehensively implemented the digitalisation strategy for the law firm. I was able to increase efficiency by introducing e-files, law firm software and document automation. I have extensive expertise in legal tech.
Project management: At LEGAL (R)EVOLUTION GmbH, I planned, developed and implemented the trade fair with the congress as project manager. By negotiating with service providers, I kept to budgets and achieved deadlines and quality targets. I analysed, modelled and optimised processes.
Communication: At KPMG, I prepared strategic decision-making principles for investments in new technologies and presented them to management in an understandable way. I was able to convince them of my ideas.
Entrepreneurial spirit: I always have an eye for optimisation opportunities and new business ideas. For example, I co-founded a biomass heating start-up and supported the financing right up to the market launch.
Interdisciplinary thinking: Thanks to my background in business administration and law, I always see the big picture. At Verne, I have combined financing strategy, product development and sales.
Further training: In order to stay up to date, I am constantly training, as my certifications as a DPO and property manager show.
